About this experience
If you are planning to visit the legendary port of Jaffa in Tel Aviv with kids, you have probably thought about how to make the walk not only informative but also enjoyable for your whole family. On an interactive game tour through the streets of Old Jaffa, we will talk fun and easy about the history, religions, myths, and legends of the ancient world. This walk will be interesting for both adults and children, and no one will get bored for sure!
Exploring the world is much more interesting when you are in direct contact with it. When you find yourself in the very place where important historical events took place thousands of years ago, which largely determined the future development of civilization, the "affairs of bygone days" become closer and more understandable.
Our tour is conceived as a journey into the world of legends associated with the ancient city of Jaffa, located near the Tel Aviv promenade. This city is one of the oldest in the world and provides a rare opportunity to see places of global significance with your own eyes. We will walk through the old narrow eastern streets where the scent of coffee and oranges lingers, and you can always buy freshly squeezed pomegranate juice.
You can expect stories about ancient heroes, puzzles, and tasks. We will have time to talk about various topics, some of which echo the school curriculum:
- Ancient Greek legends
- Biblical stories
- Basic introduction to religious traditions and temples (Judaism, Islam, Christianity)
- Getting to know the life of a port city
