About this experience
I believe that since you are reading these words, you dream of entering the world of Harry Potter. I am happy to help! I will take you to magical locations in central London, tell you about the filming locations, and also about iconic landmarks. You will have to find Diagon Alley, the entrance to the Ministry of Magic, Sirius Black's house, be on platform 9¾ and on Millenium Bridge, and also use a couple of spells :)
What to expect
📍 'All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten.' We will visit King's Cross Station, where the Hogwarts Express departs, and find that platform - I assure you, no one will get hurt stepping onto the platform!
📍 'As they walked up the street, he screwed up his eyes against the sun, trying to see everything at once: the shops, the things outside them, the people doing their shopping.' Following Harry and Hagrid, we will walk to Diagon Alley. Maybe you will also want to buy something for the new school year at the wizards' school - the guide knows how to bargain ;)
📍 Millennium Bridge, which was destroyed by the Death Eaters in the film 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'.
📍 'On a street in London, the name of which he had just recognized, outside a small bookshop and music shop.' We will look at Sirius Black's house and try to remember the spell to allow the secret door to appear.
📍 'It was a tiny, grubby-looking pub, as different as possible from the brightly lit, widely expansive Leaky Cauldron.' I will show you the Leaky Cauldron, where butterbeer flowed freely and magical gossip was whispered.
📍 'As ever when they were in close proximity to Muggles, behaving in a Muggle fashion, Mr. Weasley was hard put to prevent his mouth twitching with amusement.' We will visit the metro station where Harry Potter arrived with Arthur Weasley, and find the entrance to the Ministry of Magic. You will have to find out if the password for entry is still the same - or if you need to experiment!
📍 And of course, we will not miss the square where all the premieres of 'Harry Potter' took place and where a monument to the young wizard is installed.
During this journey, you will hear interesting stories about the filming, learn about the biography of writer J.K. Rowling, and about magical incidents from London's past. We will pass by famous landmarks, so I will also tell you about them - this includes the City district, St. Paul's Cathedral, St. Pancras Station, and many others.
Footage from the films 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' was used in the description (Warner Bros.)
