About this experience
Czechia is known not only for its cozy towns and castles, but also for its enchantingly beautiful nature. In this trip, you will trek among the rocks of Czech Switzerland and see the famous stone arch 'Pravcicka Brana'. Enjoy the local cuisine, and during a boat trip, feel the mysterious atmosphere of the Czech forest.
What to Expect
Natural Arch in the Rock
From Prague, we will head to the charming town of Hrensko. Here, the pedestrian part of the route will begin. The paths of the fairytale forest will lead us to the Pravcicka Gate, the largest rock arch in Europe. You will admire the beauty of Czech nature from a height and also see the small castle 'Falcon's Nest' located at the foot of the rock. You will hear about the history of the reserve and its improvement, learn how these rocks were formed, and how the landscape has changed over time. Then we will have lunch in an authentic restaurant with local cuisine.
View of the Gorge from the Water
Next awaits us a walk along the Kamenice River: along the path among the rocks and trees, we will reach the pier and board a boat that will sail through the Edmund Gorge. The silence of the river canyons, dense greenery, and majestic cliffs - the landscapes of these places will amaze you with their dark beauty. During the stop, you can take photos and try traditional Czech beer. We will then return to Hrensko, from where we will head back to Prague.
