About this experience
I invite you to get acquainted with Astana, combining the luxury of the East, the sophistication of the West, and national color! You will drive through the old quarters of the Right Bank, climb the Bayterek Tower, and admire the city from a height of 97 meters. Appreciate the examples of modern architecture, see the gifts from the Sheikh of Saudi Arabia and the Khan's yurt, included in the world list of eco-design masterpieces.
What to expect
Old City
In the historical part of Astana on the right bank of the Ishim River, you will see buildings from past centuries and the Soviet era. You will visit the Konstantino-Eleninskaya Church of 1854, take a walk along the Promenade, and enter a store that has preserved the atmosphere of the provincial town of Akmolinsk. In addition, I will show you the embankment where fairs used to be held, and a pedestrian bridge in the shape of a sturgeon. We will also make a stop at Palace Square and visit the Hazret Sultan Cathedral Mosque.
New City
The new city on the Left Bank was built in the last 25 years. We will climb to the viewing platform of the Bayterek Tower, visit the Expo Center, and see the Museum of Future Energy, created in the form of a sphere. I will also show you: the National Space Center with models of rockets in natural size, Olympic facilities, the Astana Opera House, and the Khan's yurt. We will not miss the Lovers' Park, where you will find a bronze sculpture of Kazakh Romeo and Juliet.
