What to expect
Charm of a Medieval Town
Incredibly atmospheric Guadalest, surrounded by a fortress wall, has preserved its medieval charm to this day despite numerous attacks and earthquakes. We will enter through a 10-meter tunnel carved in the rock, and then stroll past artisan stalls and markets, admiring the white houses perched on the cliffs. You will learn about the history of the castle, which once played an important role in Spain's fate thanks to its strategic location. And of course, from Guadalest, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, mountain ranges, and the emerald-colored reservoir at the foot.
