About this experience
Arguably the most famous palace-park ensemble in Europe attracts travelers with its grandeur and luxury. This architectural masterpiece was the project of Louis XIV's entire life and a monument to an entire era. To feel its harmonious greatness, you will pass through the palace halls, learn about what happened in the state apartments, admire the elegant fountains in the park. And you will immerse yourself in the idea of 'heaven on earth', which was embodied in Versailles at the Sun King's command.
What to Expect
The Splendor of Versailles and Its Stories
Royal residence - the place where decisive events took place. You will walk through the central alley and through the Golden Gates, visit the Hall of Coronation and the Throne Room, enjoy the view from the Sun King's chamber, and unravel the symbolism of the architectural design of the room. You will be amazed by the legendary Hall of Mirrors, where time seems to stand still: here you will hear a story about industrial espionage, examine the first French mirrors, and 'stroll through the garden' inside the palace. Versailles will reveal itself to you as a precious jewel, which in the 19th century became a museum and was intended to demonstrate France's power.
