About this experience
I will meet you at the hotel - and your adventure will begin! I will comfortably drive you to Champagne, telling the story of the region and showing the best viewpoints. I will help you book visits to the wine cellars of Épernay, Hautvillers, and Reims and a table at a restaurant. You will enjoy champagne tastings and leisurely relaxation, and I will be waiting for you to take you back to Paris after a bright day.
What to Expect
Épernay. This city has the Avenue de Champagne, where the famous Moët & Chandon champagne house is located. And there are 15 more wine spots nearby.
Hautvillers. It was here that a young Benedictine monk discovered the secret of making sparkling wine. In this hidden corner of France, there are now over 10 cellars that offer treats you can't find even in Paris.
Reims. Almost all the monarchs of France were crowned here. Reims Cathedral is a masterpiece of Gothic art and a world heritage site, sometimes called the temple of the smiling angel. And in Reims, there are 16 wine cellars and restaurants serving authentic French cuisine.
Organizational Details
- Additional expenses: lunch - optional, wine tastings - from €35 to €250/tasting depending on the house and drink. Details will be clarified in the correspondence.
- The trip will be on a comfortable Honda CR-V Exclusive car with a panoramic roof. There will be drinking water for you in the car.
- Upon request and for an additional fee, I will meet you at the airport or in the suburbs of Paris.
