No traffic jams yet, it's clean and fresh around. The Presidential Palace, Parliament House, Red Fort, India Gate, famous temples, and more will reveal their secrets to you. And you can explore them without the hustle and bustle of crowds of tourists.
What to Expect
Sightseeing Tour
We will drive by iconic landmarks and talk about the history and traditions of Delhi. The program includes the most important places that will help you get a full impression of the Indian capital:
- Parliament and Presidential Palace – an impressive complex of buildings and the official residence of the president.
- Lakshmi-Narayan Temple – you will admire its vibrant decor, while I will tell you about the gods it is named after.
- Akshardham Temple – a grand complex listed in the Guinness Book of Records. You will hear about its construction and architectural details.
- Lotus Temple – the main temple of the Bahai religion in India and neighboring countries.
Traditional Indian Breakfast
Midway through the route, you will have time to relax and have a snack. We will arrange a traditional breakfast for you, during which we will discuss the life and tastes of Indians. You will learn about how holidays and weekdays are spent in India and understand curious customs that the locals observe.
History of the Red Fort
Next, we will head to the fortress known as the Red Fort. It is the so-called "younger brother" of the famous Agra Fort and an important symbol of resilience. I will tell you about its connection to the resistance against the East India Company and the events of 1947 when India gained independence from Britain.
Organizational Details
- The excursion takes place in a comfortable Kia or Toyota car for up to 3 passengers
- We will meet you at the airport and take you to the relevant terminal after the tour ends
- Lotus Temple, Akshardham, and Red Fort are closed on Mondays
