About this experience
I invite you to an author's tour that will help you see Delhi in a new light! You will walk in the main city park Lodi, visit a medieval fort, and see the stunning mausoleum of the Mughal prime minister. You will touch the secrets of Hinduism in the Vishnu temple and learn about the neo-Hindu guru in the Sai Baba temple.
What to expect
Feroz Shah Kotla Fort. You will visit one of the city's oldest structures – a fortress from the 14th century. I will share its rich history with you.
Lodi Garden. A beautiful and well-kept park where locals love to relax. You will walk along its paths and see ancient tombs.
Sai Baba Temple. A modern spacious temple dedicated to the neo-Hindu religious leader and guru. We will discuss his controversial personality.
Shaheed Park. This is a memorial park revealing India's struggle against colonizers.
Safdarjung's Tomb. I will show you the marble mausoleum of the Mughal prime minister. You will examine in detail its facade with intricate patterns and stroll through the picturesque garden.
Mahatma and Indira Gandhi Museums. You will learn about the lives of these great individuals and see their personal belongings.
Vishnu Temple. Using it as an example, I will decipher the features of South Indian architectural style.
