Located 40 km from Paris, Chantilly Castle may not be as popular as Versailles or the Loire castles, but it is just as rich in history and beauty. For the French, Chantilly is associated with whipped cream and racehorses, and for art connoisseurs, it is also known for its magnificent collection of paintings. We invite you to explore this delightful corner of France and delve into the aristocratic heritage of the 16th-17th centuries.
What to Expect
Chantilly Palace and Conde Museum
We will visit the castle with its luxurious sculptures, stained glass windows, painted chandeliers, and staircases. Admire works by Raphael, Botticelli, Delacroix, and other masters on the palace walls. And of course, do not miss one of France's richest museums - the Conde Museum. Here you can find over 800 paintings by famous artists and valuable manuscripts.
Blooming garden alleys and horses: live, bronze, painted
We will then explore the picturesque Chantilly park. Its landscape design was done by the famous Lenotre, who also designed the gardens of Versailles. You can visit the Horse Museum - where over 200 works of art will tell you about horses and their related stories. Half of the exhibits are live and inhabit the Grand Stables of Chantilly.
Stories, legends, and traditions
You will learn a lot of interesting facts about the court of Louis XIV and the customs of that time, hear fascinating tales about the castle owners. Find out how whipped cream brought fame to the city, and understand the connection between Arabian horses and Chantilly.

- The trip will be in a comfortable class minivan Renault Espace 5 or Volkswagen Touran. A child seat can be provided upon request.
- Castle tickets are not included: adult (from 17 years old) - €17, child (7-17 years old) - €13.50. Children under 6 years old enter for free.
- The tour can be complemented with a visit to the medieval town of Senlis. Details in the correspondence.
Chantilly Castle Opening Hours
- From May to October: every day except Tuesday, from 10:00 to 18:00
- From November to April: Monday, Wednesday-Friday from 10:30 to 12:45 and from 14:00 to 17:00, Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 to 17:00
