What to expect
Florence through the centuries
You will stroll through the historic center and see its symbol - the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. You will hear the ringing of bells on Giotto's Bell Tower and enjoy a delicious cappuccino on the terrace, which offers an amazing view of the terracotta roofs of houses, the grand cathedral, and the monumental Palazzo Vecchio. I will show you the square where in the distant 59 B.C. Julius Caesar founded this amazing city, and tell you about the statues in the Loggia dei Lanzi and the incomparable David. I will also help you find the window in the tower of the palace, which local residents jokingly call 'albergietto' (little hotel), as in ancient times Cosimo Medici and Girolamo Savonarola 'spent time' here.
Secrets of the Golden Bridge and the Medici family
In the second part of the tour, you will admire the creations of Florentine jewelers, learn the secrets kept by the Golden Bridge, and if desired, have a glass of prosecco with a beautiful view of the city. You will also visit the sacred center of Florence, the Cathedral Square, learn the amazing history of the cathedral and climb to the top of Brunelleschi's unique dome to see the capital of Tuscany in all its glory from a height of 150 meters. Finally, you will visit the Medici district, where I will help you immerse yourself in the history of the powerful and cunning family, whose members were Popes, Dukes of Tuscany, and Queens of France.
