I will gladly accompany you during your first trip to our city: I will take you to the main attractions, guide you through the labyrinths of Old Baku, and show you the best panoramas. You will see the modern metropolis and compare it with old photographs, explore architectural contrasts, and feel the Baku character.
What to expect
The whole New Baku with a breeze
Introduction to the city will start with its modern symbol - the Heydar Aliyev Center, a striking building designed by Zaha Hadid. We will drive past magnificent attractions of the oil boom era: you will see the Mukhtarov Palace, Ismailiyya building, and the Gadjinski House, while I tell you about their architecture and early inhabitants. Of course, you will enjoy the view of the port city on the Caspian Sea from above - at Nagorny Park. We will talk about the fate of this picturesque corner of Baku, see the waterfall complex, and the famous Flame Towers.
Stroll through the stone alleys of the Old City
Part of the tour is dedicated to Icherisheher, ancient Baku behind the fortress walls. In the maze of its streets (this is where Mironov got lost in "Diamond Arm"), you will touch the city's origins: learn about the first mentions of Baku, uncover the secrets of the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, find mosques and caravanserais. Not far from the Old City, I will also show you Fountains Square with original compositions.
Picturesque waterfront and stories from a native Bakuvian
The Seaside Boulevard is loved by both locals and guests of Baku. Here you will notice two attractions: the Carpet Museum in the shape of this national product, and Little Venice, a "town" with canals and gondolas.
Our meeting will be in a friendly format, as my goal is to help you fall in love with my city. You can always ask about the past and present of Baku, about the character and life of Bakuvians. I will recommend delicious places and suggest where to go outside the capital, take photos of you, and show you the best angles of the attractions.

How the tour goes
- I will pick you up at a convenient location in the city and drop you off
- The tour for 1-4 people is conducted in a comfortable Toyota Prius car

- The tour can also be arranged for a larger number of people. In this case, the transport is charged separately:
- for 5-7 people: Mercedes Vito minivan (+$40 to the cost)
- for 8-20 people: Mercedes Sprinter minibus (+$70 to the cost)
