About this experience
Children can play as brave explorers and fearless treasure hunters without getting tired. And what if we invite you and your child to a real excavation at the archaeological museum? You will learn about the charms and challenges of archaeologists' work, see historical artifacts, and then your child will find an artifact using the necessary tools.
What to Expect
We will take a short walk through the Bath Quarter and hike to the beautiful waterfall in the center of Tbilisi at the Injiri Gorge. You will enjoy nature and listen to interesting stories from the guide about the history of these places. Then we will visit the open-air archaeological museum and explore it. And then the most interesting part begins!
Your child will learn the intricacies of archaeologists' work and then actively participate in the excavation. We will provide all the necessary tools (shovels, brushes, scrapers) and appropriate clothing. Under the careful guidance of professionals, the little archaeologist will work at the excavation site and will definitely find something, for which he will receive a small souvenir.
Who Is It For
Excavations are a very interesting, entertaining, and educational process that everyone enjoys, but especially suitable for children aged 5 to 15.
