City ABC of Tbilisi - family adventure
About this experience
Guides, craftsmen, and artists invite you on a journey through the soulful Tbilisi! We will browse through the city's ABC - ქალაქის ანბანი. And fill its pages with stories of residents and houses, streets and monuments. We will examine the facades and doors, learn Georgian words, identify plants and search for artifacts, try on roles and visit workshops, museums, and just drop by.
What to Expect
Tbilisi as a friendly winking interlocutor :)
In our urban alphabet, there are no boring pages of 'this building was built'. There are hidden museums and art objects in the depth of streets, there is a noisy old bazaar, there are secrets of lemonades and bells, facades and stained glass. Prepare to answer questions (this is not a quiz, imagination is more important!), solve puzzles, and search for details.
Walks through the atmospheric Tbilisi
I suggest you choose one of the wonderful districts for a walk - or mix and extend the adventure. Each route has its charm, they pass through parks, galleries, or museums.
- Mtatsminda. Here we will visit 'grandma's house' and Zazerkalye, try writing in Georgian and see how to think with fingertips.
- Garetubani. We will see unusual frescoes and paintings by Lado Gudiashvili. Visit the Museum of rare books. In the park, we will talk to the monuments and trees, and also find dangerous plants.
- Sololaki. We will go on a hunt for urban grids. Of course, we won't miss Hogwarts and the Time Portal! Try wild tea and local chocolate.
- Old Town. Imagine ourselves as craftsmen of the past at Meidan Square, go through an ethno-quest, hold ancient artifacts in our hands at the Archaeology Museum, and learn colors in Georgian at the Fig Gorge.

Lada is the most wonderful children's guide. She herself notices and draws attention to the amazing details that are of interest to children in excursions. Children are masters of 'small forms' (not conceptual overviews with lots of numbers). Lada understands this perfectly, that's why the excursion...

Thank you very much for the exciting program about Tbilisi. We were with children aged 8 and 15, they enjoyed the journey through the old part of Tbilisi. We also received recommendations for restaurants (cafes) and further acquaintance with the city.
