About this experience
If you are lucky enough to find yourself in the unique capital of Tuscany with children, do not rush to think that they will not appreciate or remember anything. This tour will help your child see the city in a way that leaves them with wonderful and kind memories! Together, we will explore the streets of the Old Town, admire the dome of the Duomo, and discuss how people lived in medieval towers. We will try to decipher street names, discover local crafts, and find the most beautiful bridge in the city. Welcome, little and adult travelers!
What to Expect
In the magic suitcase of the Great Traveler, I have gathered everything necessary for Florence to be remembered by you and your children for a long time and with kindness.
Our route will pass through the city center - from the Duomo to the Old Bridge. Or if you wish, we can start from the opposite end ;) We will get acquainted with the symbolism of Florence and its rulers, together we will look for palaces, bridges, and churches. You will learn how the famous dome of the Florentine Duomo was built and what its illustrious builder, Filippo Brunelleschi, was like in life. Then we will imagine how the Florentines lived in medieval towers.
We will learn a lot about the city from the names of its streets: we will try to guess what happened on Duck Street, Shoemakers Street, Tables Street... Along the way, we will visit the amazing Orsanmichele church and talk about crafts.
Finally, on the main square of the city, we will go to the Old Palace, where the children will meet a fairy tale!
