About this experience
In a prepared off-road vehicle, we will embark on a journey through the picturesque places of Oman. You will visit the Wadi Bani Khalid Valley, swim in natural pools, and have lunch in the shade of palm trees in the oasis. Enjoy the views of the vast desert expanses, take a walk, and ride a jeep on the sand dunes. And in the end, you will visit Omani nomads and get acquainted with their way of life.
What to expect
- Scenic road to the desert. The journey to the main adventure spot will pass through miniature towns and villages surrounded by rocky landscapes. These settlements are often hidden among mountains or located in green valleys with small ponds created by underground springs.
- Magical oasis world. Arriving at the Wadi Bani Khalid Valley, you will discover a stunning oasis and refresh yourself in natural pools with crystal clear azure water.
- Picnic. After a refreshing swim, we will have a picnic lunch right on the spot.
- Wahiba Dunes. Next, you will set out to explore Oman's largest desert. If you look closely, you can see the movement of the sand dunes: the desert constantly changes its appearance! The locals claim that Wahiba is unlike any other desert in Arabia. We will take you to the highest dunes and ride a jeep - a splash of adrenaline and vivid impressions are guaranteed!
- Bedouin dwellings. In conclusion, you will visit the secluded homes of Omani nomads. They will warmly welcome you and share their stories.
- After saying goodbye to the desert, we will head back to Muscat.
During the journey, you will also learn interesting facts about Oman, its ruler, and local religion.
