What to Expect

• Antiquities Museum. It houses over 5200 artifacts from different periods of Egypt's history. Here you can see mummified animals, statues of ancient Egyptian gods, mummies and sarcophagi, models of the sun boats of King Khufu, and much more.
• Presidential Mosque. Located near the president's residence and the International Congress Hall, so most of the worshippers here are diplomats.
• El Mustafa Mosque. An elegant building named after the prophet Muhammad - El Mustafa, which means 'Chosen by Allah'.
• Coptic Cathedral 'Inhabitants of Heaven'. A monumental structure famous for its magnificent frescoes and stained glass windows dedicated to biblical stories.
• Hay El-Nur (Light Quarter). Simultaneously a residential quarter and a shopping center. You will see the houses of local residents, markets, supermarkets, fruit and vegetable stalls, bakeries, authentic restaurants and cafes, as well as the international hospital 'Glass Pyramid'.
• Old Market - the largest oriental bazaar on the entire resort with numerous stalls and cafes. In the center of the market is the carved El Sahaba Mosque - one of the most beautiful attractions in Sharm.
• Ofira. The area of Khadabat Um Essid, or Old Ofira, adjoins the Old Town - the first district of the city. Here, former Israeli barracks from the times of the Sinai occupation by the Israelis are still preserved.
• Naama Bay - a district by the embankment with lush palm alleys, nightclubs, hotels, and casinos.
• Lunch/dinner at the 'Faluka' cafe in Naama Bay. The menu is fixed: fish and seafood or grilled meat, soft drink, water.
• Soho Square (only in the evening) with singing fountains, a skating rink, and other entertainment. Here you will best feel the pulse of the city at night.
