About this experience
I invite you to visit one of the most beautiful corners of the world, which will impress you with its hospitality and magnificent architecture. Perched on a cliff by the sea, Dubrovnik radiates harmony and grandeur. I will show you the most interesting sights of this museum city, tell you about its centuries-old history, traditions, and legends, and help you feel the soulful atmosphere.
What to Expect
Dubrovnik through the Ages
I will guide you through the city's iconic spots and tell their stories in a lively, emotional language. The program includes:
- Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary - a baroque cathedral. I will reveal which churches stood on its site and what is depicted on its main altar.
- Treasury - where the most valuable Christian relics of Dubrovnik are kept, the history of which you will definitely hear.
- Church of Saint Blaise 18th century - a city symbol located on the central square Loza. You will be impressed by the grandeur of this sanctuary, reminiscent of the finest Venetian temples.
- Franciscan Monastery - you will learn about the "black" Franciscan monks and why the monastery was rebuilt several times.
- Old Pharmacy - founded by monks in the 14th century, it continues to operate to this day.
- Large Onofrio's Fountain - I will explain why it can be confidently called one of the first urban water supply systems in Eastern Europe and how it happened that cold mountain water still flows from it.
- Stradun Street - you will stroll along one of the most picturesque streets in Europe and experience the local life.
