About this experience
Muscat is a city where the traditions of Omani seafarers, imperial grandeur, and progressive innovations intricately blend. We will introduce you to its unique appearance and rich cultural heritage. We will uncover the nuances and peculiarities of local life: you will learn how people live here, what traditions they uphold, what they eat and drink, and how they spend their free time.
What to Expect
- You will visit one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world - Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Combined with an indescribable Swarovski crystal chandelier, its interior will leave you in awe.
- Next, we will head to Oman's center of cultural enlightenment - the Royal Opera House Muscat, adorned with white sandstone walls.
- We will make a stop for tea: you will try the delicious local tea 'karak,' and the guide will share the secrets of its composition.
- Then we will proceed to the old part of Muscat - the Muttrah district, where we will visit the ancient market. We will advise you on the best places to purchase local souvenirs, from magnets to Omani daggers.
