After this trip, you will feel and understand why Bali is rightfully called the paradise corner of our planet.
What to expect
Day 1
Tanah Lot Temple on the ocean shore
You will visit the beautiful Tanah Lot Temple, one of the three main temples in Bali, built to worship Dewa Baruna - the Ocean god. Tanah Lot, perched on a rock, can only be reached during low tide: during high tide, the temple is completely surrounded by the waves of the Indian Ocean.
Local culture and life
You will drive through colorful villages that are not part of the standard tourist routes and immerse yourself in the real life of the island of Bali: you will see how Balinese peasants live and work, how they cultivate fields, grow rice and flowers. Along the way, we may stop to take photos or buy delicious and inexpensive Balinese fruits from street stalls. And then you will drive through the most beautiful points of the Kebun Raya Bedugul botanical garden, where you will see hundreds of species of tropical trees, plants, and flowers.
Harmony with nature at Pura Ulun Danu Beratan Temple
We will stop at Lake Beratan – in this picturesque and sacral place, you will see the Pura Ulun Danu Beratan water temple, learn which deities it is dedicated to, and delve into the specifics of the island's religion. After a walk in the beautiful park near the temple, we can have lunch at a local restaurant with Balinese national dishes.
Black beach and incredible nature of Bali
You will see many lake monkeys, be able to interact with animals, feed them, and take photos. On the way to the hotel, you will enjoy stunning panoramas of the island, see numerous coffee, cocoa, vanilla, cloves, and fruit plantations. You will stop at the peaceful Lovina Beach with black sand and calm sea, one of the most pleasant places for swimming. Here you will find the hotel where we will spend the night.
Day 2
Morning in the company of dolphins
At dawn, a sea trip awaits you to wild dolphins on a traditional fishing catamaran. We will sail a few kilometers away from the shore to get a closer look at the animals, as dolphins can only be seen here early in the morning. Sometimes they swim very close to the catamaran, sometimes a little further away, and usually stick together as a group.
Water magic: springs, waterfalls, and lakes
After breakfast, we will head to the hot Banjar Spring, where you will bathe in a pool with healing water gushing from the ground, admire traditional Balinese buildings and dragon statues. Then you will visit the Munduk Waterfall, one of the most picturesque and mesmerizing on Bali, and the Buyan and Tamblingan lakes located in the crater of an extinct volcano.
Strawberry plantation
You will visit a strawberry plantation that is grown in cool mountainous areas of Bali. Here you can taste sweet berries, drink a glass of strawberry juice, see how various exotic fruits, plants, and flowers grow.
Legend of the abandoned hotel
On the way, we will visit one of the unusual places of the island, different from standard natural and cultural sites. You will see an abandoned hotel covered with moss, enveloped in rumors and mysteries. According to legend, all guests and staff mysteriously disappeared from the hotel one night.
Gardens and landscapes of the Pura Taman Ayun complex
After lunch in a restaurant overlooking the rice terraces and mountains, we will visit the Pura Taman Ayun temple complex. The name of the temple translates as 'beautiful garden,' and it is true – here you will admire the stunning traditional architecture, a large landscaped garden, as well as ponds with lotuses and fish. This wonderful place will be a colorful final chord of our excursion.
