What to Expect
Tales of lavish banquets and wine
I will completely immerse you in the culinary traditions of Italy. I will illustrate my stories with works of artists on the subject of food and its preparation. We will discuss lavish banquets during the dark Middle Ages and the Renaissance, key gastronomic concepts and dishes. I will tell you about the great wines of Valpolicella and the origin of Amarone.
4 restaurants and a vegetable shop
You will visit places where native Veronese usually meet and dine. In all these restaurants, raw materials are carefully selected, and traditional cooking approaches are applied. Additionally, we will stop by a small vegetable shop. There, I will explain how local gourmets skillfully combine flavor profiles of products.
The gastronomic journey includes the following tastings:
