Need to get from the airport to the east coast? Combine transfer with an exciting excursion to the main attractions of Sri Lanka! We will make a stop at the Dambulla cave temple and delve into the history and traditions of Buddhism, meet the lion guardians at the famous Sigiriya rock, and explore the heritage of the ancient island capital — Polonnaruwa.
What to expect
Dambulla Cave Temple. Built over 2000 years ago, it is considered one of the most important shrines on the island. Inside, there are frescoes and sculptures depicting the history of Buddhism and local legends that we will tell you about. And from the top of the hill where the temple is located, you will enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
Lion Rock - Sigiriya. This place is known for the lion guardians carved from the rock. Climbing to the top, you will enjoy panoramas and feel the spirit of ancient times. And in the caves, you will study ancient frescoes and learn what they signify.
Polonnaruwa. This is the ancient capital of Sri Lanka. Here you can see the ruins of temples, stupas, and palaces, witnessing the rich cultural and religious history of this place. We will visit the Tooth of Buddha temple, examine the Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba stupa, the ancient palace, and gardens that amaze with beauty and architecture.
