You will see all the iconic landmarks of the city: the National Museum, public library, university, and municipality. Also included in the tour:

• Gangaramaya Temple - the most important Buddhist temple in the city, founded in 1841. We will tell you under what circumstances it became not only a sacred place but also a center for training monks in the history and religion of the East. Today you will see a whole complex here, including cult and residential areas, a library, and classrooms.
• Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque - one of the oldest mosques in Colombo. Its construction was initiated in the early 20th century by the local Indian Muslim community. We will explain how the mosque's design combines elements of Indian, Indo-Islamic architecture, as well as neo-Gothic and neo-classical styles.
• Viharamahadevi Park - you will visit a classic English park complex, rising amidst the vibrant and colorful Asian Colombo. You will stroll through well-kept shady alleys, see a giant gilded statue of Buddha, carved pavilions, orchids, tropical trees, and a lake.
• Galle Face Promenade - you will stroll along the central city promenade, founded in the mid-19th century, and see the oldest hotel of the same name. This is where all important persons who ever visited the island stayed. For example, in 1961, Yuri Gagarin stayed at the hotel.

• An entrance ticket to Gangaramaya Temple is additionally paid - $3
• When ordering a tour from a cruise liner, please provide copies of all passports, the name of the liner, and the arrival time. Additional expenses (50 euros per group - special permit).
