About this experience
I will introduce you and your children to the masterpieces of the Brera Gallery - works by Raphael, Caravaggio, Bellini, and other famous painters. You will see the chapel with frescoes, compare the 'Last Supper' by Crespi and Rubens, and find out how to enter into a painting.
What to Expect
You will walk through the gallery halls and examine the works of Caravaggio, Bellini, Veronese, Mantegna, and other painters. And I will tell you:
- Why the art gallery is called a pinacotheca
- How to convey emotions through color palette
- Why Napoleon stands in the courtyard and is it really him
- How to get inside Raphael's painting
- Why Piero della Francesca depicted the count from the wrong side
- For whom Leonardo da Vinci organized a wedding
And much more!
At the end, we will play a game with the children to reinforce the material 'Painting or Artist' and find out what they remembered more - the title of the work or the name of the author.
Organizational Details
- Additional expenses: entrance tickets to the gallery - €15/adult, children - free of charge. There are family tickets for €10 (details inquire).
