About this experience
Brasilia is unlike any other city in the country. It is a completely unique place with concrete structures from the 60s, monumental buildings by Oscar Niemeyer, provincial way of life, and endless sky. I will help you discover the unusual beauty of the Brazilian capital and tell you the most interesting stories about it!
What to expect
Brasilia's landmarks
Walking through the Three Powers Square, you will see the White House, the buildings of the Supreme Court and the National Congress, and a statue symbolizing the era of Brasilia's construction. You will also hear about the city's history and why it became the country's capital. Then drive along the 'ministerial' avenue and visit the Cathedral and National Museum, where you will appreciate the creativity of Oscar Niemeyer, one of the world's most famous architects.
Brasilia at a glance
Ascending to the observation deck of the TV Tower, you will be impressed by the view of the entire center of Brasilia and learn how the 'aircraft city' was built. Next, you will see the stadium and planetarium and visit the Juscelino Kubitschek Memorial Center - one of the country's most important political figures. In addition, we will definitely visit the Dom Bosco Shrine. You will learn who it was built in honor of and admire its stunning stained glass windows.
Brasilia today
In the southern part of Brasilia, you will learn about the 'quads' and the function they serve in the city's structure. I will also tell you about the famous Brazilian artist Athos Bulcão and his drawings on ceramic tiles, and reveal what building is considered the 'cornerstone' of the idea of progress.
