What to Expect
Highlights of Prague in Express Mode
We will walk through the famous Prague triangle, covering the key attractions of the city. Along the way, I won't overwhelm you with facts, but I will share curious architectural details and secrets hidden behind the facades. In a couple of hours, you will discover:
- Wenceslas Square, which has witnessed significant events in Prague's history. You will learn about Czech holidays, demonstrations, festivals and understand the connections to Gagarin, the Dalai Lama, and the American president.
- Old Town Square - the soul and heart of medieval Prague with its winding fairytale lanes and beautiful blend of Baroque, Gothic, and Renaissance styles. We will definitely stop at the legendary Orloj clock, which comes to life every hour and performs a small puppet show.
- Charles Bridge, surrounded by legends and featured on half of Czech postcards. We will stroll along the ancient cobblestones, admire the two centers of Prague, and delve into the history of the bridge, associated with magic and astrology.
- Prague Castle: we will tour the world's largest operating medieval castle complex, talk about the ancient dynasties of Prague, and admire the intricate facade of St. Vitus Cathedral.
Feel a bit like a Czech
I will spice up extraordinary stories with tales and observations about Czechia itself. You will learn how the Czechs live, receive the inside scoop on cozy restaurants, and find the place that bakes the most delicious trdelník in the city. I will also give you a crash course in Czech so you can confidently order coffee in local kavárnas (cafés), ask for directions, or buy souvenirs.
Organizational Details
You will need comfortable shoes and a tram ticket, which we can buy along the way.
