About this experience
Only 10 weeks a year, the palace opens its doors to everyone who wants to visit. You will see a world usually closed to the public. We will walk through the halls that have witnessed royal weddings, coronations, the faces of famous guests, and hundreds, no, thousands of servants ensuring the upkeep of a whole city - Buckingham Palace.
What to Expect
- You will walk on the soft carpets once trodden by royal persons
- See rare art objects - Canova sculptures, paintings by Titian and Rubens, Sevres porcelain, and unique furniture
- Visit the rooms where family photo shoots, award presentations, and grand banquets for the visits of foreign heads of state took place
- Stroll through the garden of the royal residence
- Hear stories from the lives of famous English monarchs and their children
In 2024, a special highlight will be an exhibition dedicated to the coronation of Charles III. Waiting for his turn for 70 years, the monarch took over the country after the departure of the long-lived mother, who witnessed several eras and broke all reign records. I will tell you how the current king's relationship with Elizabeth developed and the thorns he had to navigate to reach this position. I will share bright and amusing moments from his personal biography.
