You will stroll through the kitchens of the 16th century, ceremonial halls, and gardens with exquisite landscape design. And I will share interesting stories from the royal life.
What to Expect
You will visit:
Antique Palace. You will tour the halls where lavish feasts were held. Learn how monarchs entertained themselves, what sports they preferred, and much more.
Royal Kitchens. I will tell you what dishes were considered worthy of the royal table, what served as delicacies and seasonings, what drinks royal persons preferred, and what food was given to the poor.
King William's Apartments. You will hear about the controversial personal life of the king, his manners, illnesses, and ways to handle his needs.
Great Fountain Garden. We will walk through the garden created by the best landscape designer of its time.
King's Kitchen Garden. During the Tudor times, they grew spicy herbs in it. You will tour the king's former tennis courts and learn why the local gardener was fired.

- It is easy to reach the castle from London by train. Travel time is 30 minutes, cost is £16 per person
