About this experience
The rapidly developing modern Paris increasingly hides its historical face behind modern facades. Let's embark on a treasure hunt together: old signs, passages, pastry shops from the times of kings, and let nothing escape our eyes!
Program
If you find yourself in Paris, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, make sure to visit the Montorgueil district. If even the English Queen Elizabeth II couldn't resist peeking into the Montorgueil street for pastries from the oldest pastry shop in Paris, find a moment to explore this amazing place!
The Montorgueil district is the oldest commercial artery of the city. Every building here has a story - Mozart, Marquise de Pompadour, Picasso, Dali... all lived, worked, and enjoyed themselves here.
We will start our walk by delving into the meandering paths of Parisian courtyards and alleys. We will pass by the picturesque bio-wall and then dive into the bustling world of Montorgueil street, where everywhere you turn there is something interesting.
One of the oldest streets, it has become a place of pilgrimage for food lovers from all over the world, fans of designer objects, and connoisseurs of truly French delights: snails, oysters, and cheeses of all kinds. Visiting everyone, we will not overlook the oldest pastry shop in Paris.
A little turn off the main street will take us to an ancient, hidden passage away from the tourist crowds. Here, amidst antique shops, an ebony artist's workshop, and numerous small boutiques, the spirit of old, true Paris is felt like nowhere else.
I would like to show you many hidden corners. We will see the largest organ in France and end our journey in the Nelson Mandela Park to witness a historic event: the construction of the century that will soon completely change the face of this ancient district.
