About this experience
I gave our walk this name not by chance - the city of Alghero is called the 'coral riviera' of the Sardinian coast. And that is why on the streets of this ancient city, you will be immersed in an abundance of coral products. And who, when, and why you should wear these stones, I will tell you when we meet.
Program
You will understand why Alghero is called 'Little Barcelona' when we walk through the streets of the old town, visit the male monastery, and look at the city from a bird's eye view - the bell tower of the Cathedral of St. Mary.
Alghero is the color of Sardinia, here they still speak in a Catalan dialect. Seeing 'Barcelonetta', hearing Catalans, and tasting paella - what could be more colorful in Italian Sardinia? And where else but here can you try both Spanish and Italian cuisine in one restaurant?
You will enjoy breathtaking views from 'Cape Hunter' and descend into the Neptune's Grotto. To the marine kingdom leads the 'goat path', consisting of 700 steps. Descending it is a feat, and climbing it is a feat doubled. But you will find a picturesque grotto, consisting of 6 halls, in one of which even the King of Sardinia dined!
