About this experience
Rioja and wine are synonymous words. This fertile region thrives on winemaking. During the tour, you will learn what 'bodega' means and how Rioja wine is produced using old and new technologies. You will have the opportunity to see, touch, and photograph many interesting tools used in the making of this beverage.
Program
- Our first stop on the route will be the interactive Wine Museum. Here, you will meet the wine elf and learn about the main stages of creating Criansa Reserva wines.
- Next, we will visit an ancient bodega that once belonged to a Riojan writer. You will descend into the cellars where wines have been aging, just like they did 200 years ago. The products of this winery are very honest — the taste is pure grape, without any complex notes.
- After a short walk through the medieval town, we will visit a second winery that uses modern technologies for wine production.

- Each winery includes a tasting of 2 wines.
- Lunch during the tour at a picturesque Riojan restaurant is paid separately.
