Let's talk about the secrets of Queen Hatshepsut or observe the daily life of ordinary people on Banana Island. In any case, our guide will tell you about the history of Egypt and help you understand Luxor's role in its destiny.
What to expect
Flexible itinerary
You can choose to visit any attractions in Luxor - and even adjust the route during the tour. You will have transportation and a driver with you all day, as well as a Russian-speaking guide. What's interesting in Luxor:
- Karnak Temple - more than 30 pharaohs participated in its construction! You will explore religious buildings, statues, and reliefs on the complex grounds, and see the sacred lake - the guide will tell you about its secrets.
- Luxor Temple - you will admire its beautiful reliefs and learn about the rituals of the Opet festival (the celebration of which was one of the main functions of the temple).
- Sphinx Alley - we will stroll among the sculptures and take some unusual photos with them.
- Valleys of the Kings and Queens - not far from the city: here we will visit the tomb of Tutankhamun (the only one that has reached us intact). We will tour the House-Museum of Howard Carter, who discovered the famous tomb. And we will also be impressed by the rich decoration of Nefertari's tomb.
- Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built into the rock - you will walk through its upper and lower terraces and be amazed by the grandeur of the architecture.
- Banana Island - here we will relax in the shade of a banana grove or sugar cane thickets and observe the daily life of the locals. Optionally, we can organize a visit to the homes of modern city residents (by prior arrangement).
Egyptian life chronicles
You will discover the classic version of Luxor's and Egypt's history: ancient Egyptian pharaohs and tombs, the daily life of Egyptians, and their traditions. You will hear about the significance of this city for the entire country. And you will learn about how the modern descendants of the pharaohs live.

Transportation
- For groups of up to 3 people, the tour is conducted in a comfortable sedan (included in the price)
- For larger groups, the tour can be conducted in a minibus equipped with air conditioning and all the necessary amenities (additional fee of 16€)
- You will be picked up from any Luxor hotel and dropped off back
- The traffic on Luxor's roads is very busy, so for safety reasons, the driver handles the transportation while the guide focuses on providing information. This also helps make the tour more informative.
Additional expenses:
- Entrance fees according to the program and meals
- If tourists need to be picked up in the airport area and/or taken there after the tour, there is an additional fee of 30€
