Explore the sights of Florence, enjoy views of the city from above, and capture beautiful moments with photographs! Learn why the dome of Palazzo Vecchio took 270 years to build and how the creativity of Florentines from past centuries has influenced our lives. Visit Piazzale Michelangelo and climb the hill. Our photographer will take atmospheric shots.
What to expect
- We will meet at one of the most picturesque places in Florence - the panoramic square of Piazzale Michelangelo, which offers a magnificent view of the city. Florence will be at your feet! This is where we will take the first photos.
- I will show you Palazzo Vecchio - the palace where the government of the Florentine Republic met since the early 14th century. We will admire the dome of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. I will tell you why it took 270 long years to build and what makes its dome unique.
- You will see the panorama of the bridges across the Arno River, which divides the city into two parts, and learn why the Old Bridge is now called the Golden Bridge. We will talk about famous Florentines Arnolfo di Cambio, Giotto, Filippo Brunelleschi, Giorgio Vasari and how their art has influenced the modern appearance of the city.
- We will visit one of the oldest churches in the city, San Miniato al Monte, and you will learn the amazing legend of the founding of this church. From the mountain on which it is located, there is a beautiful view of Florence.
