About this experience
We have included the most iconic places of the country in the program: we will travel from south to north to show you the cities and provinces that are unlike each other. We will visit Yangshuo and take a rafting trip, stroll through the ancient Fenghuang and Xi'an, explore the Ulanqab National Park with the Avatar rocks, and climb the 'Heaven's Gate' on Tianmen Mountain. You will see the Terracotta Warriors and the Diaolou mansions of Cantonese merchants, the contrast of modern skyscrapers, old architecture, and small villages. Watch a musical performance right on the water, visit a karst cave, and try the unusual local cuisine. China will definitely surprise you!
Organizational Details
Please respect the Chinese culture and follow the rules of visiting attractions, as well as requirements for behavior in transport, wearing masks where necessary, etc. China is a strict country when it comes to rules of conduct.
1. The route includes transfers not only by private but also by public transport: metro, taxis, intercity buses, trains. Public transport in China works well and is often more convenient than private transport.
2. Please note that the order of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners will depend entirely on the transfers and will not always be on a unified schedule. We will cover a long distance, and therefore the schedule of buses and trains will dictate its own rules to us.
3. Almost no local residents speak English, even the staff of hotels and restaurants. Menus in cafes/restaurants are mostly only in Chinese. In big cities, there are signs in English, but not in rural areas. The guide will assist with translation, but we recommend installing translation apps on your phone.
4. To visit temples, one must have clothing that covers shoulders and knees.
5. European cuisine dishes in China are rare and expensive. Local cuisine is not necessarily spicy, so there is no need to be afraid of Chinese dishes - almost everyone will be able to find something they like. But if you have a sensitive stomach, we recommend bringing instant porridge, powdered milk, jelly, and other familiar light foods to give your body a break.
