About this experience
Southern China is famous for its towering karst mountains, well-preserved medieval villages, modern cities, impressive gorges, and picturesque rivers. During this tour, we will hike up to 20 km a day, explore ancient history, and admire the wonders of nature. With a professional guide, we will walk along the Great Wall of China, see the cliffs that inspired James Cameron in creating 'Avatar,' visit ancient settlements, and stroll through the dazzling Guangzhou. We will travel comfortably by train and minibus. All the highlights of this region await you!
Organizational Details
To enter China, the following documents will be required:
1. A negative PCR test or antigen test result for Covid-19 taken no more than 48 hours before departure. The test result must be in Russian or English.
2. Health declaration form filled out within 48 hours before arrival. After filling out the form, you will receive a QR code, which will need to be shown upon arrival in the country. Detailed instructions on filling out the form will be sent by the manager a few weeks before the trip.
You will need to independently obtain a standard tourist visa for the PRC (L type, single entry, 30 days of stay, 90 days of entry corridor). This can be done at the visa center. We recommend submitting documents through an agency.
Important! Do not indicate in the application that you work in the media, human rights organizations, or security forces.
For tourists whose passport indicates a birthplace other than Russia and without a visa to China, an additional certificate of no criminal record will be required.
It is better to bring yuan from Russia, as exchanging currency in China is very time-consuming and not always technically possible. You can also use Visa and Mastercard cards issued by foreign banks for payment. If you plan to use a Union Pay card issued by Russian banks, we recommend contacting your bank to verify if they are accepted for payment in the PRC.
We would like to inform those bringing dollars: bills older than 2006 are not valid in China.
