About this experience
We will travel across the country from north to south and see all the diversity of its culture and traditions. You will get acquainted with megacities and visit small villages. We will walk in the mountains and descend into caves, raft along rivers and try national dishes. We will meet charming pandas, see how locals grow rice, and explore legendary landmarks: the Great Wall of China and the world's largest stone statue of Buddha. The most daring can challenge themselves and walk along the nerve-wracking 'Death Trail'.
Organizational Details
To enter China, you will need the following documents:
1. Negative result of a PCR test or antigen test for Covid-19, taken no earlier than 48 hours before departure. The test result must be in Russian or English.
2. Health declaration form filled out 48 hours before arrival. After filling out the form, you will receive a QR code, which will need to be shown upon arrival in the country. Detailed instructions on filling out the form will be sent by the manager a few weeks before the trip.
You will need to independently obtain a standard tourist visa to China (L type, single entry, 30 days stay, 90-day entry corridor). You can do it at the visa center. We recommend submitting documents through an agency.
Important! Do not indicate in the application that you work in the media, human rights organizations, or law enforcement agencies.
For tourists whose passport indicates a birthplace other than Russia and without a visa stamp to China, an additional certificate of no criminal record will be required.
It is better to bring yuan from Russia, as exchanging currency in China is very time-consuming and not always technically possible. You can also use Visa and Mastercard issued by foreign banks for payment. If you plan to use a Union Pay card issued by Russian banks for payment, we recommend contacting your bank to confirm whether they are accepted for payment in China.
For those bringing dollars, we want to inform you that banknotes older than 2006 are not valid in China.
The group will meet at 09:00 on the first day of the tour at the Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX)
How to get to Beijing:
If you are flying from Moscow, we recommend taking flights arriving in Beijing early in the morning. Please note that the local time difference with Moscow is +5 hours.
