About this experience
This journey will introduce you to the southern coast of Bali - the Bukit Peninsula with its unique temples and idyllic landscapes. You will visit the paradise Padang-Padang Beach, admire the ocean from the steep cliffs, feed the monkeys at Uluwatu Temple, and witness the spectacular traditional Kecak dance at sunset. The perfect ending to the trip will be a dinner of fresh seafood by the ocean on the romantic Jimbaran Beach.
What to Expect
Cinematic Padang-Padang Beach
Your acquaintance with the Bukit Peninsula will begin with the famous paradise Padang-Padang Beach, which served as a backdrop for the movie 'Eat, Pray, Love' starring Julia Roberts. You will descend to the beach down a long staircase in a narrow crevice of the cliff, relax on the velvety sand, and watch the fearless surfers attracted by the high waves off the coast of Padang-Padang.
Balinese Dances at Uluwatu Temple
Immerse yourself in the Balinese culture at Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple, perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean. You will admire the powerful waves from the high rocky shore, walk through the territory of one of the most revered temples on the island, and have the chance to feed the nearby monkeys. As the evening approaches, you will witness an enchanting show at Uluwatu Temple - the traditional Balinese Kecak dance: about a hundred performers will act out a dance performance about the lovers Sita and Rama.
Freshest Seafood at Jimbaran Beach
By sunset, you will find yourself in one of the most picturesque places in southern Bali - on Jimbaran Beach. It is the ideal spot to enjoy the song of the ocean and the views of the rocky coasts. To end the evening, you can have a candlelit dinner in a cozy restaurant on the sandy shore of Jimbaran, where they prepare excellent Balinese dishes from fresh seafood.
