About this experience
Did you know that besides the Taj Mahal, there is also the Baby Taj Mahal in Agra? During the tour, you will see both ancient buildings and admire the unique architecture. You will also learn under what circumstances they were built and why the Baby Taj Mahal is considered the precursor to the seventh wonder of the world.
What to expect
Early in the morning, we will head to Agra with a 4-hour drive each way. The tour will start with a visit to the Taj Mahal - a mosque-mausoleum built on the orders of the emperor of the Mughal Empire, Shah Jahan. You will learn why white marble was used for construction and why this historical masterpiece is considered a symbol of eternal love.
Next, you will meet its 'younger brother' - the Baby Taj Mahal. There is a version that Shah Jahan was inspired by this tomb during the construction of the Taj Mahal. You will be able to compare these two architectural masterpieces yourself.
