India is unimaginable without the Taj Mahal – a temple of love surrounded by legends. I invite you to visit Agra to admire this majestic mausoleum in person. On this group excursion, you will learn details of its history and also visit another relic of the Middle Ages – the fortress of the Great Mughal Empire.
What to expect
Taj Mahal: stories and legends of the mausoleum
You will marvel at the grand temple built in memory of the ruler's wife by the fifth Mughal emperor. Explore the mausoleum halls and hear the love story that echoes through the centuries. I will introduce you to the myths surrounding the construction of the Taj Mahal and the real facts from its creation.
Agra Fort: the fate of a medieval fortress
Both locations of our trip hold memories of the Great Mughal Empire. You will visit the main defensive fortress of this state – the Red Fort. I will guide you through its halls and explain its past significance. You will understand how the fort lived on after the empire's fall and its role today.
Lunch at an Indian restaurant: customs and traditions of the country
You will have the opportunity to taste a variety of dishes: several types of rice, lamb, bread, traditional tea. During lunch, we will discuss the daily life and traditions of Indians. Learn about the festivals and customs honored by the locals.

- As we pick up all participants from their accommodations, the exact pick-up time depends on the location of your hotel
