Taj Mahal: stories and legends of the mausoleum
You will admire the grand temple, which the fifth ruler of the Mughal Empire built in memory of his wife. You will walk through the mausoleum's hall and hear the love story that is told centuries later. I will introduce you to the legends about the construction of the Taj Mahal and the real facts from the construction period.
Agra Fort: the fate of a medieval fortress
Both objects of our trip are memories of the reign of the Great Mughal Empire. You will visit the main defensive fortress of this state - the Red Fort. I will guide you through its halls and tell you what was in them in the past. You will understand how the fortress lived after the empire fell and what role it plays today.
Lunch at an Indian restaurant: traditions and customs of the country (optional for an additional fee)
Of course, you will have the opportunity to taste the national cuisine. You will try various dishes: several types of rice, lamb, flatbreads, traditional tea. During lunch, we will discuss the daily life and habits of Indians. You will learn about the holidays and everyday life in India and understand what traditions the local residents uphold.
