About this experience
Ras Mohammed is the country's first national park, opened back in 1989. You will see sand dunes of all shapes and sizes, natural geological faults, and the enchantingly beautiful coast of the Gulf of Suez. Then indulge in snorkeling in one of the world's best underwater swimming spots. And for lunch, treat yourself to exquisite seafood!
What to Expect
Harsh Desert
After a short comfortable ride from your hotel to the national park, our walk among the sands will begin. Through inconspicuous paths known only to locals, we will reach the hidden corners of the Ras Mohammed reserve. You will see:
- mangrove forests with crab burrows in shallow picturesque bays
- faults in the Earth's crust that formed millions of years ago due to a strong earthquake
- Lake of Desires - a magical bay where you can make a wish that will surely come true
- Allah's Gate - a mysterious stone entrance resembling a Martian landscape
Calm Sea
After the desert journey, we will find ourselves on the seashore. It's time to go snorkeling! Swimming with a mask in the coastal waters, you will observe the incredible underwater world of Egypt. You will see rare fish, turtles, and stingrays.
