About this experience
Near the hot Sharm-el-Sheikh, there is a real geological wonder! Ras-Mohammed National Park is interesting to explore not only underwater, but also on land, with its harsh fossilized rock formations along the coast. You will enjoy a beautiful beach, the unique underwater world of the Red Sea, and learn all about the history of this place.
What to expect
Marvels amidst the desert
- The road from Sharm-el-Sheikh will take approximately half an hour. Along the way, you will enjoy the vast sandy expanses.
- Upon entering the park, we will stop to take photos at the monumental Allah's Gates.
- You will also see traces of an ancient earthquake: geological faults up to 50 meters deep, filled with water.
- On the coast, you will dive into the underwater world of the Red Sea, with its crystal-clear waters and colorful coral reefs. During snorkeling, the guide will accompany you and show you the best spots on the reefs.
- You will see mangrove thickets - plants that thrive in salty water and breathe not with leaves like all trees, but with their roots. You'll also observe funny crabs and graceful herons.
- You will learn about the healing properties of the Wishing Lake water and, if you wish, you can swim in it.
