About this experience
Southern Phuket is an authentic mix of golden beaches, panoramic viewpoints, ancient temples, and colorful streets. For a motorcycle journey, we have selected locations for you to explore the island in 1 day. It will be an emotional and fun adventure: you will visit an abandoned hotel, interact with monks, feed elephants, and take hundreds of bright photos.
What to Expect
Three Phuket Beaches
We will visit the top beaches of the island: Karon, Kata, and Nai Harn. Each of them will amaze you in its own way: Karon with its golden sand and 3-kilometer coastline, Kata with its picturesque crescent-shaped bay, and Nai Harn surrounded by palm groves.
Best Viewpoints in the South of the Island
Southern Phuket is very hilly, so there are plenty of viewpoints with panoramic views here. We have chosen the most unusual ones:
- Abandoned Hotel overlooking Karon and Kata beaches. Few tourists know about this mysterious place: we will reach it through mangrove forests and enjoy the luxurious views along the way.
- Karon View Point - Phuket's postcard, where you can admire the beaches of Karon, Kata, and Kata Noi.
- Windmill Viewpoint - the best spot to watch sunsets in Phuket! We will see the beaches of Nai Harn, Ya Nui, and neighboring islands, and on windy days, we will observe paragliders.
- Laem Promthep with a lighthouse - the southernmost point of the island with scenic views of the azure Andaman Sea. We will rush there on motorbikes, take a short walk on the rocks, and visit a working Buddhist temple.
- Big Buddha Temple with a dizzying 360-degree view. You'll be able to see monks chanting mantras, check your karma, and stroll around the area where wild monkeys often roam.
- Wat Chalong - the largest and one of the most revered temples in Phuket, where a part of Buddha's ashes rests. Here, you can also admire a beautiful lake!
Feel like a Local
We will take you to authentic cafes with good Thai cuisine, tell you about the beliefs, lifestyle, and customs of Thais. We'll talk about Buddhist ceremonies, and if you're lucky, even chat with monks in one of the temples. We will also orient you on the island so that you can seamlessly blend into the peaceful life of Phuket.
