About this experience
I will show you hidden gems of the island without crowds of tourists. In a friendly atmosphere, I will share interesting facts and answer any questions about Phuket and life here. Enjoy the views from observation points, visit ancient temples, stroll through the Old Town, and see the hotel featured in "The Beach" movie. Learn the significance of roosters for Thais and where only Burmese people live on the island.
What to Expect
- Secret viewpoint of three beaches from a Thai courtyard and a stop with a view of Nai Harn Beach
- Windmill viewpoint. Enjoy the view of Ya Nui Beach and uninhabited Koh Man
- Wat Promthep Temple overlooking the southernmost point of the island. Learn why Thais place roosters at the entrance and how it relates to the ruler of Siam
- Colorful Rawai Beach. We can take a break here for photos and see the abundance of Thai boats
- Rang Hill viewpoint. From here, you can see the atmospheric Phuket Town - Old Town
- Wat Kao Rang Temple - one of the city's oldest temples. Enjoy its atmosphere, check your karma, and understand how Thais view hell and paradise
- Crab-Eating Macaques - feeding the monkeys in the mangrove groves at the entrance to Siray Island (optional)
- Burmese Buddhist Temple Siray. Inside the temple is an 18-meter reclining Buddha. It offers a great view of the sea gypsy village and fishing port
- Walk through the Old Town. Immerse yourself in Sino-Portuguese architecture and see one of the first hotels in Phuket where "The Beach" movie was filmed. Optionally, taste coffee, roti, and ice cream
