About this experience
We all know about the famous Swiss cheese and chocolate. But Swiss wine is not something commonly heard of. Why? Because the Swiss consume almost everything they produce themselves! Only 1% is exported. This automatically makes the local wine unique. And during our walk through the vineyards, you will have the opportunity to taste it!
What to expect
Arguably the most beautiful location on the shores of Lake Geneva. Strolling here is a paradise for hedonists. We will walk among the vineyards, enjoy the atmosphere, admire the landscapes, and of course, drink wine!
You can actually taste this divine, high-quality, like everything Swiss, drink practically only in Switzerland. And it is best to drink it among the famous vineyards of Lavaux, enjoying the magnificent views of Lake Geneva and the French Alps on the other side!
It is in this place that we will have a picnic together, and afterwards, if you wish, we will have dinner in one of the local restaurants and visit one of the winery cellars.
You will learn:
- Why only 1% of Swiss wine is exported
- Thanks to whom exactly in this picturesque place almost 1000 years ago vineyards appeared
- Which grape variety is the most popular here
- Which local festival became the first Swiss tradition recognized by UNESCO
- What celebrities lived on the shores of the Swiss Riviera (and how they lived!)
