Friends, I invite you to a cup of morning coffee on the 'Mammoth's' back! And for this, we need to make a bold ascent to Mount Musa-Dag - the highlight of Adrasan Bay. We will set out in the dark, climb to a height of 560 meters, brew coffee on a burner, and meet the sunrise with a breathtaking view. These moments are unforgettable!
What to expect
The Mammoth Mountain in Adrasan Bay. Did you know that Mount Musa-Dag from the beach resembles a giant mammoth? While the mammoth peacefully sleeps in the bay, we will climb up its back under the cover of night. We will meet, get acquainted, receive instructions - and off we go!
Trekking for the brave, agile, skillful. The ascent will not be easy: it's a great opportunity to test and believe in yourself. But believe me, the result is worth it! In 2 hours, we will reach the plateau, and along the way, the entire Adrasan Bay will unfold before our eyes in the pre-dawn colors. Moreover, in the pre-dawn twilight, you will be able to collect medicinal herbs: sage, laurel, thyme.
Morning coffee you won't forget. Once at the summit, we will reward ourselves. We will brew aromatic Turkish coffee on a burner, meet the sunrise with a breathtaking view, contemplate, think about eternity... While below us - only the mirror of the sea, tranquility, and serenity. A new day has begun!
After the ascent, a traditional Turkish breakfast awaits you at one of the best restaurants in Adrasan: you can replenish your strength and share your emotions from the trip.
Organizational details
- Please note: climbing (with elements of rock climbing) Mount Musa-Dag requires excellent physical fitness, we recommend assessing your strength in advance. The route is designed for strong adults, also sporty teenagers from 14-15 years old can cope (under the supervision of parents).
- Ensure you have comfortable clothing and sports shoes. Bring drinking water with you. We will provide participants with headlamps and protective gloves (to prevent cuts).
- You need to independently reach our bay, or we can assist in organizing transportation (for an additional fee). The road from Antalya (80 km) will cost approximately $60.
