Bakuriani is one of the most famous and beautiful ski resorts in Georgia. The surrounding mountains and centuries-old pine trees, like heroes, protect it from cold winds, and the sun graciously blesses it with warm rays almost all year round. Here you can engage in winter sports or indulge in contemplative walks. And then you will visit the Seraphim Sarovsky Temple and the town of Borjomi, where you will hear the story of healing water.
What to Expect
Winter Fun in the 'Sun Valley'
Arriving in Borjomi, you will board the 'Kukushka' train and ascend to Bakuriani via a narrow-gauge railway. You will spend 3-4 hours surrounded by fairy-tale mountains, crystal-clear air, and mighty pines, carefully guarding the resort from fierce frosts and penetrating winds. Here you can try your hand at various winter sports: skiing, snowboarding, and sledding. Or simply take a walk around the resort, enjoying the fresh frosty air and the warm rays of the sun enveloping Bakuriani 210 days a year.
Monastery of Seraphim Sarovsky
In the temple of the elder, you will learn why he became particularly revered in Georgia among all Russian Orthodox saints. Explore the monastery grounds and cell, recreated in the image of the places where the venerable Seraphim lived and preached; under the shade, you will see a large prayer stone and hear amazing stories about the legendary miracle worker.
Borjomi Resort Town
In conclusion, you will visit the town with world-renowned mineral springs. Here you will learn about the properties and methods of using the water, which has become one of Georgia's brands. We will talk about archaeological excavations and ancient stone baths, proving the long history of the sources. And then you will go for a leisurely stroll in one of the most picturesque places in Borjomi - the central park, where you can be alone with nature and, perhaps, reflect on the past aristocratic life of the resort.

Highly recommend this tour! The nature is magnificent: winter, snow.... And the train ride on the "cuckoo" felt like a scene from a movie. They said it's also very beautiful here in the summer. Invited to visit now in the summer or autumn. If you haven't been yet, make sure to visit with this team!

Excellent tour! We all loved it - the guide really loves Georgia. We visited various amazing places on the way (churches, photo spots). In Batumi, we drank water, in Bakuriani we went to the very top and rode on sleds. Along the way, we stopped at a cafe with excellent shashlik.
