About this experience
Belgrade rises above the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. Trust us: there is no more picturesque view of the city than from the river! We will take a cruise and explore the Belgrade Fortress and the Millennia Tower from a new perspective, discussing the city's history, local traditions, and other attractions.
What to Expect
Let's go on a cruise!
First, you will see the fortress, whose stone walls and towers bear the memory of past events. After enjoying the panorama from the top of the hill, you will board a charming boat. Guided by an experienced captain, we will sail under numerous bridges of the Sava River along the new promenade. At the confluence of the two rivers, the Belgrade Fortress will reveal itself in all its glory on the steep bank, and on the opposite bank of the Danube behind the island, the legendary Millennia Tower will appear. I will tell you about the history of Serbia, heroes, and prominent residents of Belgrade, as well as share urban legends. During the river cruise, we can make a stop and take a walk on one of the islands among cozy country houses. And to recharge your energy, we can organize a picnic right on board the boat!
On a hot day, we can sail further away from the populated part of the city and noisy beaches, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clean river.
Organizational Details
- The tour takes place from April to October in suitable weather conditions
- If desired, you can order snacks and drinks, which are extra charged
- The minimum duration of the tour is 2 hours. If besides the boat ride, you want to take a walk on the island or swim in the river, we can extend the tour, with each additional hour costing 154 euros.
- The price includes a boat ride, transfer to and from the pier in the city center by car. If the group is more than 4 people, for an additional fee, we can provide a more spacious boat and suitable transport to and from the pier.
