About this experience
In its history, Belgrade has been destroyed and rebuilt from scratch 38 times. Nevertheless, it has managed to preserve its uniqueness. You will see this for yourself as you walk through the majestic Belgrade Fortress, the oldest pedestrian streets, and the picturesque historic center. And I will be happy to tell you about the local culture and traditions, way of life, and mindset.
What to expect
Belgrade from the inside
I will show you all the most famous sights of Belgrade. The tour program includes:
- Scenic riverside - this is where Belgrade began its development. You will enjoy a beautiful view of the Sava and Danube rivers and learn about the city's history.
- Belgrade Fortress - you will hear about the military events it is associated with and discover traces of numerous empires that have succeeded each other for centuries.
- Cathedral of Saint Archangel Michael - I will tell you how it was built, destroyed, and rebuilt throughout its long history.
- Princess Ljubica's Residence - dating back to the time of Prince Miloš Obrenović's first rule, it will captivate you with its elegance.
- "Question Mark" Coffee House - opened in 1823 across from the Cathedral Church, it is the oldest in the capital and continues to operate to this day.
- Prince Michael Street - the epicenter of Belgrade's culture and history and one of the most beautiful pedestrian zones in Eastern Europe.
- Skadarlija - Belgrade's Montmartre. On this quiet cozy street in the center of the bustling city, you will feel yourself in the "bohemian heart of Belgrade" and immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of the Serbian capital.
And this is far from all! You will also walk along King Milan Street and King Alexander Boulevard, see the Parliament building, New and Old Palaces, and the churches of St. Mark and the Holy Trinity.
