About this experience
How to experience the romance of Bali? Watch the sunrise in the company of dolphins, trek through untrodden paths in the jungle, admire the lakes in the crater of an extinct volcano, absorb the tranquility of a sacred temple. We have gathered the most interesting experiences in North Bali for you to immerse yourself in the spirit of the island and see it in all its diversity.
What to Expect
Sunrise in Lovina
You will enjoy the rays of the rising sun from the deck of a traditional jukung boat in the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Its captain knows the routes of the dolphins well. What could be more wonderful than meeting their pod at sunrise? This beginning of the day will provide you with a romantic mood for a long time. You can extend it by snorkeling or contemplating the picturesque shores.
The highest waterfall on the island
The next natural wonder is the Sekumpul waterfall, which consists of 7 cascades. The highest reaches 80 meters! This place is sacred to Balinese people. The path to it was opened to the island's guests only in 2010. Nature here remains almost untouched by humans, large groups of tourists are still rare. You will feel like a hero of an adventure movie and immerse yourself in the exotic beauty of Bali!
Mount Batur and Pura Ulun Danu Bratan Temple
Afterward, take a drive on the mountain serpentine past the Buyan and Tamblingan lakes. They are hidden in the crater of the extinct Batur volcano at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level. We will end our trip with a visit to the Pura Ulun Danu Bratan Temple on the sacred Lake Bratan. Legend has it that the queen of lakes and rivers, Dewi Danu, liked this temple so much that she decided to take it for herself and raised the water level in the lake for that purpose.
